Dinner Under the Stars

On June 11, 2011, Becoming Independent will hold its 20th annual Dinner Under the Stars - "Stars in the Spotlight." With '20 years in the making,' we are sure this year will prove to be one of our most successful. Why, you might ask? Because the people we serve are the stars and we'll be stepping into the limelight - Hollywood style.

Last year we netted over $181,000 and this year, with massive and unprecedented cuts to Becoming Independent's primary state funding being threatened, the goal is even more ambitious. On June 11, 2011, our goal will be to raise $200,000 to help fund programs.

Thanks to the Benziger family's generous partnership, Dinner Under the Stars has become one of Sonoma Valley's most popular wine country events. Thank you to everyone who makes this event possible: the volunteers, sponsors, donors, Board of Directors, and supporters.
